St. Hilary School is a Catholic elementary school located on the north side of Chicago, Illinois, nestled between the Budlong Woods, Arcadia Terrace and Lincolnwood neighborhoods. St. Hilary offers value-centered preschool, kindergarten and first grade through eighth grade education. St. Hilary School is where faith, family and academics thrive.
We offer a safe, Christian environment for all who enter our doors, regardless of their race, religion or ethnicity. Our experienced and dedicated faculty and staff are second to none, placing emphasis on developing our students' moral values in conjunction with their academic talents. We offer the ideal teacher to student ratio of 15:1. Composite standardized test scores are consistently above national norms in all disciplines.
I am so thankful to be part of our St. Hilary Family! As a parent, we value the importance of care, compassion, and commitment that teachers provide our children. St. Hilary Faculty and all of the staff have always exhibited the genuine implementation of the true meaning of building and fostering faith within the challenges of academics as well as influencing the importance of building good character in all of the students. St. Hilary Staff and Faculty truly provide holistic care to our children and families! I admire how St. Hilary Faculty and Staff are able to acknowledge and encourage the importance of culture as well as encouraging the contributions of each individualized student's talents and skills in the school. I am thankful for the encouragement and inspiration they give the children in the school. The teachers and the principal are so active in the students’ academic life as well as their faith. As a result, the students/children develop skills to be able to make responsible choices and exhibit morals and values necessary to be productive members of the community. Thank you St. Hilary! -7th grade parent
When our son turned four and it was time to look for schools, we toured many. But the second we walked into St. Hilary's we felt at home. The Principal, Mrs. Donovan welcomed us and left an immediate and positive impression. She knew the name of every student, saying hi to each one that would walk by during the tour. St. Hilary's is not just a school, but a community that really cares for their students and families.
A Catholic foundation was very important for our family when choosing a school as well, and St. Hilary's has exceeded our expectations in the religious education and in every way.
Our son is in his second year here now, and we couldn't be happier. The education he is receiving is top notch, he loves his teachers and the smaller class sizes provide him with the extra attention that he needs to thrive. I never would have imagined that our son would love school so much that at the end of the school day, he's not ready to leave! The extracurricular activities make school more fun and exciting and he looks forward to getting up every morning and for what the day has in store. -1st grade parent
We could not be happier with our decision to enroll our daughter at St. Hilary. We love the nurturing environment at St. Hilary. The staff is wonderful, all so pleasant. Our daughter enjoys going to school every day. She is not only gaining academic knowledge, her spiritual growth is also being strengthened. We believe that our daughter is receiving a well-rounded education that will set her up for future successes in not only academics but also in life in general. -Kindergarten parent
