About St. Hilary School

St. Hilary School is a Catholic, culturally diverse elementary school located on the north side of Chicago, Illinois, at the intersection of the Budlong Woods, Arcadia Terrace and Lincolnwood neighborhoods. St. Hilary offers a comprehensive, value-centered preschool, kindergarten, and first-grade through eighth-grade education. Our strong academic program provides an excellent foundation for lifelong learning; our focus on educating the whole student inspires a deep sense of community and encourages each student to develop a lasting commitment to social responsibility.

Each student at St. Hilary School receives individualized instruction in our core curriculum, which emphasizes phonics, reading/literature, language arts, math, science, and social studies. The latest educational technology is integrated into these classes at every grade level. Our students also receive a community-wide instruction in our comprehensive religious curriculum that includes sacramental preparation, faith partner activites, weekly mass, and unique prayer and retreat opportunities.

St. Hilary provides further academic and social enrichment with regular foreign language instruction (Spanish PK-8), music, art, and physical education classes, as well as band, chorus, battle of the books, and an array of team sports and after-school clubs.

St. Hilary believes: Education for a beginning . . . Values for life.
