Hello Big Red parents,

 Since the NFL has decided to go back to work, I thought I would send out this note reguarding BIG RED.

I hope you and your family is enjoying your summer vacation.  

The first Big Red practice of the year will be this upcoming Monday, August 15^th from 6 - 7:30 pm, at Rogers Park.  Practices will be Monday through Friday up through the first game, for now.

Equipment handout and Parent Meeting will be, Wednesday, August 17. (details to be provided later)

We are looking forward to an exciting and most of all fun year for your kids.  I have some important information that you need to know regarding the upcoming football season.

Also, please forward this message to the parents of all those who may be interested in playing this year (all students who will be in 4^th thru 8^th grade and SMM, St. Hilary, and Sacred Heart/Hardey Prep).

• There will be a mandatory meeting for parents and players on Wednesday, August 17^th from 7-8pm. The agenda will cover absences, academics, behavior, philosophy & participation. Game schedules will be distributed at this time.
• We will have practice before this at the SMM Activity Center from 6-7pm.  After that we will suit up the Varsity team with pads and the JV coaches will meet with the JV parents.  Once the Varsity is completed suited up, the Varsity coaches will meet with Varsity parents and the JV players will suit up.
• We will provide all equipment except spikes and mouthpieces (please purchase those at any sporting good store).  
• All players are required to have a provided medical form filled out as soon as possible.  Failure to complete this will result in a player not being able to participate in practice and games.
• PLEASE SUBMIT ALL PHYSICALS (St. Hilary Players) TO THE SCHOOL (ST.HILARY) OFFICE. This physical will cover football and basketball seasons.
